Walk-in access still available all days of the week

PHOENIX – Due to flooding in the Agua Fria River this week, motorized vehicle access to the boat ramp in the Agua Fria Conservation Area at Lake Pleasant Regional Park will be closed Friday, March 5 through Sunday, March 8.

Motorized access to the ramp is anticipated to be open from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. next weekend (Friday, March 13 through Sunday, March 15). The area remains open to walk-in access beyond the locked gate at the river crossing.

There is an entry fee of $6 per vehicle, $4 per motorized watercraft and $2 per non-motorized watercraft. Please have the exact amount at the pay station as change will not be provided.

The schedule of remaining days where access to the boat ramp will be allowed for motorized vehicles towing trailers/watercraft is anticipated to include most weekends throughout March and April. Updated information will be posted on the Maricopa County Parks web page at www.maricopa.gov/parks/lake_pleasant/AguaFria.aspx
